FLOW PhD student received Turbo Expo Participation YETEP Award

Shyang Maw Lim, PhD student at department of Mechanics, received the ASME IGTI Young Engineer Turbo Expo Participation YETEP Award, of an estimated value of about 40,000 SEK.

The ASME IGTI Young Engineer Turbo Expo Participation Award (YETEP) is intended for young engineers at companies, in government service, or
engineering undergraduate or graduate students in the gas turbine or related fields to obtain funding to attend ASME Turbo Expo Technical conference to present a paper which they have authored or co-authored.

For 2018, ASME IGTI will provide YETEP Award winners with:

• One Complimentary Conference Registration to the ASME Turbo Expo IGTI, 11-15 June, Oslo.
• Complimentary hotel accommodations (Sunday to Friday)
• Up to $2,000 USD reimbursement toward approved travel expenses
