Jacopo Canton winner of GKN aerospace award in mechanics

FLOW PhD student Jacopo Canton won the "GKN aerospace award in mechanics" at the 25th Svenska Mekanikdagarna in the historical university town of Uppsala, with a prize sum of 20kkr.
The selected publication by Jacopo that he sent in was his paper on " Modal instability of the flow in a toroidal pipe " (JFM 792, 2016).

During the previous Mekanikdagarna 2015, Ugis Lacis and Ellinor Appelquist have won the GKN aerospace award and the Tetra Pak award in HPC.
