Prof. Dan Henningson elected as APS Fellow

The Council of the American Physical Society at its September 2012 meeting acted favorbaly on Prof. Henningson's nomination for Fellowship in the Society upon the recommendation of the the Division of Fluid Dynamics.
"For pioneering contributions to linear and nonlinear hydrodynamic stability and numerical simulations of transitional and turbulent flows, including in-depth understanding of the concept of receptivity, bypass transition and flows over complex surfaces, as well as feedback control of these flows." Election to Fellowship in the American Physical Society is limited to no more than one half of one percent of the membership.
