Shervin Bagheri a future research leader
Our FLOW colleague Shervin Bagheri has been chosen as one of 20 future research leaders by the Foundation of Strategic Research (SSF).
A future researcher leader is defined by SSF as a scientist of the highest standing who in addition displays a potential for leadership and management, an understanding of the process of implementing research results and who is prepared at a later stage of the research career to assume responsibility for constellations larger than her/his own research group. Shervin Bagheri will receive 12 million crowns over a period of 5 years to develop new methods for flow control and in particular by tailoring surface materials to manipulate fluid flows (reduce drag/noise, increase mixing/transport).
