KTH Live Webinar / Fluid Dynamics / aerosol transport / respiratory disorders and treatment
Time: Wed 2020-11-11 12.45 - Thu 2020-11-12 12.00
Location: https://kth-se.zoom.us/j/69408421252
A research-driven education Zoom webinar will be organized between November 11th to November 12th, 2020 at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
Topic: "Fluid Dynamics for understanding aerosol transport with relevance to respiratory disorders and treatment".
You are cordially invited to register at the link bellow:

Join us to review the state-of-the-art fluid dynamics research with applications towards understanding aerosol transport, respiratory fluid mechanics, respiratory disorders and potential treatments.
Topics will include: aerosols transport, functional respiratory imaging, fluid dynamics of airway and lung disorders, respiratory fluid dynamics (including treatment), fragmentation and breakup mechanisms of non-Newtonian liquids with relevance to coughing, sneezing and droplets spreading.
We have invited speakers from Lund University, Politechnique Montréal, Johns Hopkins, FLUIDDA, ECMO Centre - Karolinska University Hospital, Sorbonne Université, Luleå TU, University of Parma, Getinge AB, and colleagues from KTH.
The final program can be found at the link bellow:

The event is sponsored by KTH Life Science Technology platform.
Organisers:
Mihai Mihaescu, Lisa Prahl Wittberg, and Mario Romero from the Departments of Engineering Mechanics and Computational Science and Technology at KTH, Sweden.
