Published Apr 08, 2025
Our colleagues Outi Tammisola and Ricardo Vinuesa have been awarded EU funding through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network ‘FairCFD - Towards sustainable Computational Fluid Dynamics’ . The main objective of FairCFD is to promote eco-responsible and efficient numerical methods, combining physics-based (e.g. adjoint-based) and data-driven approaches, metrics to quantify environmental costs, and open-source tools.
The project is coordinated by University of Toulouse. The total amount of funding is 4.5 M€, whereof the KTH share is 324k€.
