Our colleague Fredrik Lundell has been promoted to Professor in Experimental Fluid Mechanics from November 1.

Fredrik Lundell got his MSc in Engineering Physics in 1998 and PhD in Fluid Mechanics in 2003, both at KTH. He has been affiliated to FLOW from the start (on a sidenote, it can be mentioned that he made the cover page of the original FLOW proposal together with Dan Henningson).

Lundell's research area is multiphase flows and particle suspensions with a special interest for processing and assembly of biobased materials. His interests span from fundamentals of single particle motion in generic flows to turbulent process flows and assembly of nanostructured materials.
