Prof. Shervin Bagheri receives ERC Consolidator Grant

Our colleague Prof. Shervin Bagheri has received the prestigious ERC Consolidator Grant.

Prof. Bagheri will use calculations and experiments as part of the LUBFLOW project to explore the impact on self-lubricating surfaces when subjected to realistic conditions: being submerged in tough flow environments – heavily flowing fluids.

In this round, 321 researchers (12 from Sweden) out of over 2200 applicants won European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator Grants . The funding - worth in total €657 million – is part of the EU’s Horizon Europe programme. It will help excellent scientists, who have 7 to 12 years’ experience after their PhDs, to pursue their most promising ideas.
