Dr. Mehdi Niazi Ardekani winner of ERCOFTAC da Vinci Prize 2019
Former FLOW PhD student Mehdi Niazi Ardekani has won the ERCOFTAC da Vinci Prize for his PhD thesis ’Numerical study of transport phenomena in particle suspensions'.
Mehdi was one of the five finalist who presented their research works at the recent ERCOFTAC meeting in Lukasklause, Magdeburg, Germany. ERCOFTAC ' da Vinci Competition’ is held once per year. The da Vinci Prize - 1000 Euros, a Certificate and a medal - is awarded to the competitor judged by the jury to have demonstrated the best combination of scientific merit and presentational quality.
