Publicerad 2022-04-07

Our colleague Ricardo Vinuesa has just been awarded EU funding through the Marie Curie Doctoral Network ‘MODELAIR - Groundbreaking tools and models to reduce air pollution in urban areas’. The main objective of MODELAIR is to develop an Artificial Intelligence (AI) - based tool to help make informed and sensible decisions to control air pollution in urban areas. For such aim, MODELAIR will develop novel analysis tools and new ROMs based on both non-intrusive sensing and innovative data sources, including full-scale measurements and high-fidelity simulations.

The project is coordinated by UPM (Spain), and other partners include Barcelona Supercomputing Center, Univertiy of Bristol and Universite Libre De Bruxelles. The total amount of funding is 2.7 million €, and KTH is the partner with the largest share of 587 k€.
