Prof. Luca Brandt has been awarded an ERC Consolidator Grant

The European Research Council has selected 312 scientists in its first Consolidator grant competition out of more 3600 applications. 10 grants were awarded to Sweden, among which 3 to KTH. The research project, named TRITOS: TRansItions and Turbulence Of complex Suspensions, is devoted to the study of semi-dilute and dense suspensions of rigid and deformable particles in inertial flows. Luca Brandt will receive 1.99 million Euros during the next 5 years. The work will be based on large scale numerical simulations and laboratory experiments.
