FLOW paper in ACS Nano

Publicerad 2022-04-07

Recently, Krishne Gowda and Fredrik Lundell together with co-authors Daniel Söderberg, Tomas Rosén and Stephan Roth published the article ”Nanofibril alignment during assembly revealed by an X-ray scattering-based digital twin” ( pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/acsnano.1c07769 ) in the leading nanotechnology journal ACS Nano.

The paper reports a combined experimental/numerical study where experiments using Small Angle X-Scattering (SAXS) and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) together with CFD in OpenFOAM and alignment calculations in a proprietary code togehter show how nanofibrils behave when they are assembled to strong filaments. A more detailed description of the work and its results is given in the ”Research Highlight” published by the research centre DESY where the X-ray measurements were performed: www.desy.de/news/news_search/index_eng.html?openDirectAnchor=2259&two_columns=0 .
